Supervised Equipment Rental
3-hour session / day
Supervised equipment rental is for riders who cannot stay upwind, need assistance or have been advised by their instructor to practise with support.
Supervision includes all the equipment you need and an assistant who stays with you and monitors your riding to help with safety.
You must have completed IKO Level 2 to take part in supervised rental.
All unsupervised rentals are subject to terms and a deposit. To rent without supervision, you must be an independent rider and able to ride upwind.
If you do not have an IKO Kiteboarder Card, you will need a short assessment before renting. Contact KiteMood to discuss your experience and assessment.
Choose from the following options
- 1 day x 3-hour session: €120
- 3 days x 3-hour sessions: €300
- 6 days x 3-hour sessions: €480
Includes
- Supervision with an IKO Assistant Instructor
- Use of all equipment in the rental pool
- Kite sizes 6m, 7m, 9m, 10m, 12m, 14m, 13m, 15m
- Board, harness, vest & helmet included
- Rescue boat on standby
- Must have completed IKO Level 2i
Available from 12:00 – 15:00 or 15:00 – 18:00 daily
Supervised sessions include 3 hours of riding, with breaks available
Sessions lasting less than 1.5 hours are charged as a half session
We’re one of the 130 IKO-approved locations worldwide
for learning to kiteboard. All our lessons follow IKO guidelines, and all our instructors are IKO-trained and certified. We use IKO’s recreational Kiteboarding Training Path, which covers Discovery, Intermediate, Independent and Master levels. We offer lessons for the first 3 levels, outlined in our course information.
- Transfer between school and beach
- Kites, boards, harnesses, helmets, life vests, wetsuits and other equipment during lessons
- Radio-assisted lessons, with instructor contact throughout
- Lessons taught by IKO Level 2 instructors
- IKO Kiteboarder Card and level certification
- Low student-to-instructor ratio (max 2:1)
