Dream Lagoon Resort has wind throughout the year, although the best months for your visit depend on the conditions you prefer.
Mid-May – June, September – Mid-October: highest wind probability
January – March, November – December: stronger winds but a lower chance of wind, while still offering the highest wind probability in Egypt
July – August: very hot, with particularly steady winds
Water temperature and wetsuits
A full-length wetsuit can be worn throughout the year. In summer, you can choose a full-length wetsuit or a shorty. Daytime temperatures are warm.
The wind is predominantly cross-shore to cross-onshore, with a high proportion of days reaching 20 knots or more.
These conditions make the lagoon a year-round kitesurfing destination.
A choice of resorts
The resorts overlooking the lagoon are run by an Italian tour operator and offer a range of services during the day and evening. The three resorts differ in facilities and services: Floriana Emerald is the most affordable, followed by Blue Lagoon, with Dream Lagoon offering the most exclusive option.
