Advanced kitesurfing lessons at KiteMood in Marsa Alam focus on riding control, turns and basic jumps. Progress may involve revisiting familiar riding as well as trying something new. Use these topics to talk through your experience, questions and the skills you’d like to practise with guidance.
Define what better riding means to you
“Improve my riding” is a good starting point. To turn it into a lesson goal, think about where you’d like greater understanding or consistency. Describe those moments to your instructor and ask what to focus on. You don’t need to diagnose the technical cause yourself.
After the session, return to that goal. Talk about what feels clearer and which questions you still have. This gives you more to work with than simply asking whether you’ve improved.
Make space to work on turns
Give turns time and attention during your course. Ask your instructor which part of your practice to focus on, then describe what felt familiar, uncertain or different from earlier attempts.
Discuss how riding control and turns fit the goals you’ve chosen. Let your instructor assess the practical work, and use your observations to explain what you noticed. Feedback on your riding is more useful than an exercise taken from unrelated online advice.
Discuss basic jumps without rushing
Basic jumps are part of the Advanced course, but that doesn’t mean every learner should attempt them straight away. Discuss your experience and ask how readiness for an exercise will be assessed. Your instructor can explain the goal and answer questions during the lesson.
This article doesn’t teach you how to jump. If an instruction is unclear, ask before continuing. Tell your instructor about anything you’re unsure of, including situations that feel different from previous sessions.
Plan your advanced kitesurfing progression
- Write down the goal agreed for the session.
- Note one useful observation from the feedback.
- Keep a question to revisit with your instructor.
- Review your next goal without setting a fixed deadline.
Use your notes to distinguish between trying something new and being able to repeat it consistently. Explore the Advanced course at KiteMood, compare the kitesurfing courses, or contact KiteMood to discuss lessons for your visit to Marsa Alam.
